One of
the fascinating benefits to this interwebz we surf (for hours on end) is its
power to connect people across the world. Imagine my surprise (!) to find
that there are people out there who, to date, have followed a meandering path
similar to mine―meaning, first soprano-ing at music school, and then food bloggery.
Coco of Opera Girl Cooks is one of those people, and I have the pleasure of guest posting on her blog today. I hope you'll click over to find a story and my recipe for Caramelized Fresh Figs with Honeyed Cream, which we've been enjoying here as summer tiptoes out of Boston.
Hi there! Stumbled upon your guest post on operagirlcooks. I love what she's doing to unite classically-trained foodies (who love figs!) :) look forward to seeing what else you have in store - and as a violinist, I love the title of your blog.
ReplyDeleteI've never baked with figs before. It's something that I've been meaning to try. This looks great!
ReplyDeleteMaia, thanks! Yes, there seems to be a correlation between music-lovers and foodies, doesn't there?
ReplyDeleteHallie Fae, I hope you try it and love it! Thanks for stopping by.
